After graduating from WSU in 2001, Dr. Natalee managed to find her way from mixed animal practice to small animal practice. Her veterinary interests include fear free practice, feline medicine, dermatology, geriatrics, surgery, and a budding interest in exotics and wildlife.

  • Dr. Whitney Trepel, DVM

    Doctor

Veterinary medicine is a second career for me. I was originally an engineer, and when looking into graduate school I recognized that veterinary medicine would combine my love of hands-on science with my love of animals. I moved to Olympia from Seattle when I started working at Healthy Pets in 2012 and I couldn’t have hoped for a better town or clinic. I currently live with three cats, all of whom came to our clinic from Animal Services in various states of disrepair, as well as a very tolerant Lab mix named Ned.

  • Dr. Kelly Murphy, DVM

    Doctor

Dr. Kelly Murphy is a south Louisiana transplant and has been living in Olympia, WA since 2008, practicing small animal medicine since 2007. From the time she can remember she wanted to work with animals, not an uncommon story for those in this profession, but a surprise to her parents who though respect animals and have since grown to love them, were not keen on sharing space with the animal kingdom when she was a child. Her interests include internal medicine, client education, and more recently acupuncture. Outside of work she enjoys a challenging hike, camping, photography, reading 3 books at once, live music, and writing about my childhood adventures in Deep Woods. She currently lives with two feline familiars, Dara and Samara, an incredibly cute duo.

  • Dr. Jaemi Yoshioka, DVM

    Doctor

Dr. Jaemi is joining the team at Oly Cats after graduation from Colorado State University in 2019. Her professional interests include companion animal medicine, backyard herd and flock health, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, hiking, casual gaming and looking for the perfect mocha.

  • Sophie Turner

    Assistant

Since I was a small child, I have had a great deal of love for animals. Growing up on a small farm gave me a the opportunity to work with a wide variety of creatures and when I started working at Healthy Pets as an assistant in 2008, I knew I was in the right place. I am now back manager and it has been such an amazing journey getting to know all the wonderful pets and people that walk through our doors. At home I have 2 silly kitties, 4 sweet energetic rats and a lot of little stick bugs. I also love to sculpt, draw and bike in my free time.
